This course is designed for:
  • Students and researchers in the health sciences in the process of conducting or planning a systematic or scoping review
  • Current users of Endnote Desktop looking to engage with its more advanced functions

    What’s covered:
  • Batch export results from various databases, such as Ovid (e.g. Medline), EBSCO (e.g. CINAHL), and Scopus databases
  • Improve the sensitivity of the deduplication feature
  • Best practices for creating and sharing groups/libraries with your supervisor/research team
  • Annotate records to track databases searched
  • Add custom fields to add reviewer’s comments
  • Export a bibliography with abstracts to enable title/abstract screening
  • Use Endnote to locate full-text articles of included articles
  • Best practices for managing, sharing, and transferring long documents in Word
  • Prepare for publication by inserting figures, using manuscript templates, customizing a citation style, and creating journal abbreviation term lists
