Summer Student Positions within the Improved Delivery of Cardiovascular Care (IDOCC) project (based in Ottawa)

The Improved Delivery of Cardiovascular Care (IDOCC) through Outreach Facilitation project was initiated in 2007 to assist family practices in improving their delivery of evidence-based cardiovascular care. IDOCC uses an Outreach Facilitation model in which skilled healthcare professionals provide hands-on support to practices, assisting them in implementing processes and tools designed to support and enhance the uptake of evidence-based guidelines. The IDOCC team is looking for highly motivated summer students who are interested in pursuing research projects related to this innovative quality improvement program.  The Outreach Facilitation Model is currently being implemented across Canada and the US, thereby providing potential candidates with an exciting opportunity to take part in policy relevant research. Please submit applications to Dr. C. Liddy at cliddy@bruyere.org. Please note the position is based in Ottawa.
