Why Faculty of Medicine: I chose to pursue graduate studies in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto given that the faculty offered several degrees relevant to my research interests.

Why this Department:
Firstly, I was impressed by the breadth and depth of impactful research produced by the department. Secondly, I was drawn to RSI given its prestigious reputation compared to other rehabilitation-related graduate programs. Finally, I really liked the ‘community feel’ of RSI.

Current Research Experience: I have over five years of research experience working with technology and people with dementia. Currently, I work part-time as the Lab Coordinator for the Dementia, Ageing, Technology, and Engagement (DATE) Lab, which is based at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.

Future Education Plans and/or Career Goals: I plan to pursue a long-term career as an independent scientist/rehabilitation researcher in a hospital or university setting.
