Payment Information

The payment schedule for most internal awards, e.g., QEII-GSST, OSOTF and endowed awards, and University of Toronto Fellowships are normally September, late January and late May.  Awards are generally paid to recipients in three equal instalments.  September instalments are directly refunded to the recipients.  Subsequent instalments are scheduled towards the student's account (tuition).  If the student's account is already paid in full, the instalment will either be sent directly to the student's mailing address or direct deposited into the student's bank account.

Please note:

  • Students who opt for their payments to be direct deposited to their bank account receive their instalment earlier, as opposed to mailing.  To set-up direct deposit, students can enter their banking info on ROSI/ACORN.
  • ROSI-paid awards are only processed if the students have active registration and up-to-date mailing address on ROSI/ACORN.

It is the responsibility of the awarding graduate unit to inform students in writing about the value of the award/fellowship and the terms and conditions of the award.
